I've been having a lot of trouble with this and I hope someone here can shed some light on this for me...It's driving me crazy! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We're using Windows 2000 Server in Terminal Server/Application Server mode. the Clients are Win98 boxes. Every so often, (once or so every 2 to 3 months) all of a sudden, All the Printers will disappear and a reboot seems to be the only way to get them back. I've tried restarting the Spooler with no effect. I've gone to Microsoft's site and been unable to find anything on the topic.

Last time this happened my System Log was full (could this cause that?). The last entry was:

    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: Print
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 2
    Date: 5/27/2004
    Time: 1:41:35 PM
    User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
    Computer: NICO2
    Description:
Printer hp LaserJet 1300 PCL6/DEB/Session 2 was created.

In addition to this error message in the Sys Log, I also receive the following two errors frequently and they were also the first two entries in the Sys log after rebooting:

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: Print
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 31
    Date: 5/27/2004
    Time: 1:41:57 PM
    User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
    Computer: NICO2
    Description:
PrintQueue CN=NICO2-Generic / Text Only could not be created under Container LDAP://NICO1.nico.local/CN=NICO2,CN=Computers,DC=nico,DC=local because Mandatory properties could not be set. Error: 80070005

    &

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: Print
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 37
    Date: 5/27/2004
    Time: 1:41:57 PM
    User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
    Computer: NICO2
    Description:
PrintQueue CN=NICO2-Generic / Text Only failed to be created or updated in container LDAP://NICO1.nico.local/CN=NICO2,CN=Computers,DC=nico,DC=local. Error: 80070005

I've gone to TechNet and entered the Source & Event ID in the Events & Errors search feature but no results are returned.

Lastly, I also receive frequent Warnings in the Sys Log with the Event Source being "Print" with the Event ID's being 2,3,4 & 8; all deal with Creating, Deleting, Pending Deletion and Purging Print Sessions.

Thanks for any help you can give!
