So, when ever starting my pc up or starting any sort of programme such as a game, goggle etc it spikes to 100% disk usage for a short period. I'm not very tech savvy. I have reset my pc and tried all sorts of things that I've found on the net. Please help

Hello GazPaz - I recently purchased a brand new Dell desktop that had the same issue, as I paid for their Premium Support they carried out a remote access on my PC and downloaded an updated driver from Seagate, that resulted in the HD running at 3% to 5%., maybe you could search for the latest driver for your HD.

    Regards Silversurf

That seems like normal behaviour, the system will access the hard drive whenever a program or windows starts.
