After I use my Disk Defragmenter a report reads:
Files that cannot be defrgmented are:
    \WINDOWS\system32\shelldata\cfg\8\Re

It says this may have an impact on the performance of my compute.

    How can I correct this?

    Thank you.

I'm not particularly fond of the Windows defrag utility. Assuming you don't have NT try defragging in safe mode, while offline.

If you get the same results try a defrag utility like GoldenBow's VOPT. 30 days free for 98/ME/2K/XP and NT 3.x

I've had good success with this utility.
