Disk Defragging Question

I run a dual boot system; XP Pro and Vista on the same drive but different partitions. On the XP system I have Diskeeper v11 installed and use it to defrag all my partitions. 2 hard
drives both are 400GB SATA. I've been defragging the Vista partition while I'm in XP. I've been doing this for about nine months now. I'm assuming that's it's OK to do. Anybody out there have any objections on doing it this way or is it better to defrag using the built-in defragger in Vista. The one time I used the defragger in Vista it seemed to take forever to defrag. Diskeeper, while in XP, seemed to be a whole lot faster.
