My OS is Vista Ultimate; these are the errors I'm getting:

It was working fine up till a few days ago and no past issues. I've run chkdsk on all volumes. I've also tried the "setdkacls" option but to no avail.

    Can anyone help?

How does one access this event log? I'm not sure if I'll be able to make much sense of the log once I'm able to access it.

I checked the event viewer, there are far too many entries to sift through. I browsed through some Diskeeper entries in the 'Information' section but found nothing of value.

The easiest way to make the EV useful is to right-click on each log type and Clear the log (no need to save). Then, reproduce the error so that you only have a few entries to sift through.

I re-produced the error but it's not showing up in the EV.
