I am getting this error for a long time now but it only happens with more newer games like : GTA V, heroes and generals and now also with Fallout 4.
I play alot of Counter strike and I have never had this error while playing this.
This is the error I am talking about. NOTE that this is not the same driver I use.
After a certain time my screen goes black, it closes the game I'm playing and its showing the error shown above.

    Things I have tried:
    Re-installing windows
    Updating my graphic drivers
Installing different graphic drivers(with clean install)
    Updating my BIOS
Changing settings in the Nvidia configuration window.
Checking the temperature and it does not go above 60C

I've had contact with Nvidia and tried some of the above and now they tell me I should bring my pc to a local shop to get it checked out. But first I want to ask you guys from the forum if any of you might know any solution to try out before I do that.

    SPECS:
    Windows 7 x64
    MSI 2GB GTX660
    Intel core i5-4570 2100 1150 BOX
    ASUS H87M-E
    Coolermaster B600 600w ATX23
    Seagate 1TB st1000DM003 7200 SA3
    Ram is ripjaw 4x 2GB DDR3

Since I am not making this post at home I cannot make sure what the exact RAM memory is I use because I didnt buy it online.

I am also not able to upload a DXDiag report right now but I will do that when as soon as I get home.

I hope this would be enough information for now and I am looking forward for all your replies!

Your graphics card appears to be a GeForce GTX 660 model.

You didn't say which Windows version and bit version your computer is running
You also didn't say which NVIDIA driver version is installed.

Yeah that is correct I use the GeForce GTX 660 and I use Windows 7 64Bit.
I´m not sure what driver im using at the moment but i think it´s 343.49. (I know for sure it has .49 at the end.)
I have tried a couple of drivers but once I get home I will confirm what driver I use.

The most current Windows 7 64-bit driver for the GeForce GTX 660 graphics card is 358.91(9.18.13.5391).

Download and save it, then close all open windows.

Select the custom install option and select the clean install option.

Doing that will do a clean install of the driver instead of updating it over the current version.

    See if that helps.

    Thanks for your reply!

I will try that for sure once I get home even though I had that one already installed before with a clean install but that was before I updated my BIOS.

I have installed the new driver and have been playing for roughly one hour and luckily no crash as of yet.
At the moment I'm not able to play but once I get back home I will play some more and will report back!

Your computer has an ASUS H87M-E Micro ATX motherboard and is running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit.
Let's make sure that part of the issue isn't associated with the operating system.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Download MGADiag and save it to your desktop.
Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program.
    Click "Continue".
Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).
Click the "Copy" button, the leave the report window open.
Paste the report back here in your next reply.

I'm not a MGADiag expert, but there appears to be an issue with the operating system in your computer, so I've requested a qualified person to examine it.
I'm shutting down for the night, so I'll check back here in the morning.

It could be software related like Frank said, however your PSU is also a low end unit. You should have a quality name brand PSU like Corsair or FSP.

    Thanks for your reply.
I will definitely keep that in mind.
If nothing else will work I will buy me a new PSU.

Keep in mind what I mentioned about quality. Don't buy a cheap 40$ PSU and expect it to work adequately. U need name brand PSU with adequate wattage.
