display turn black every 5 min

    hi I have this problem with vista: display turn black if i don't touch any key for 5 minutes, even I already set NEVER when to turn off display in settings.

    yes I did. it's set on 1 hour, so is not that... anyway, is drive me crazy...

    Hi is there any other power saving settings you may have overlooked sorry if this does not seem much help but you know what you have set up I'am looking for any simple thing you could easily overlook in power options before widening the field ie change when computer sleeps

    yes I think so, but where are those settings???? not in power options because I already check, maybe is something else I can't figure what it is... thanks for your suggestions

    Hi go to control panel then power options and in the lefthand column near the top of the page you will see the other options avaiable
