Dlink Username Disabled

    O/S: Windows 7
    Router: Dlink DIR-600

    Logging in with 192.168.0.1

    Username: admin (already present - not allowing to type - the field is disabled)
    Entered the password: password of the router

    Not logging in

    Dialog box with the following message: "Please enter the username"

    Any help in this regard is commendable.

    Have you tried another browser? Some older DLinks have trouble with certain browsers and certain browser versions. Also, reboot the router if another browser doesn't work.

    Thank you for response.

    The issue is resolved.

    The trouble was found out. The router was configured initially with the mac system and not the windows (the user name was disabled in the windows - just might be the case, the mac was blocking the field.)
