DMDOS Pop Up Window

    Hi, Just recently upon start up my screen displays the DMDOS Disk minder pop window, "This program should not be run in a Windows DOS session. I have gone into properties to try hide it, but when I restart the computer it changes my information when I click yes to exit the window off of the screen. Everything appears to be working ok, just don't know where this pop up came from and its just a nuisance having to remove it every time you start the computer up. I am running Windows 98SE Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Try typing MSCONFIG in at the start run box. Then look at the startup tab to see if this program is listed there. If so uncheck the box in the line that starts running the program.

    Also look under the start,programs, startup and see if the program is there. If so just deleat it from the startup folder.

    Success!!! I found it. It was under Start up, in programs, but listed under Launch pad ? I deleted it and rebooted my system, everything is working fine with no pop up window. Thank you very much for your help.
