DNS error after factory reset

    Hi factory reset done on an old HP laptop which has windows vista on however WiFi strength is excellent says we are connected to the internet but when try to access a web page keep getting dns error can you assist with getting this sorted

    Does other devices work on the same connection?
    You can try to open the properties of the device click Internet Protocol v.4, change to "Use these DNS Servers (or something like that)" and specify "8.8.8.8" and "8.8.4.4." respectively. Those are Google's public DNS servers.
