DNS numbers

    Windows 98SE

    while online how do you check your DNS numbers?
    I typed winipcfg in the run box but I don't see them there, does anybody know the command to check DNS numbers while connected.

    In winipcfg, click More Info.

    I see numbers where it says DNS servers, but why are these numbers diffrent then the numbers I entered in my DUN connection?

    Not exactly sure, but the DNS servers are assigned by your ISP in most cases. I'm not sure if changing things in Network setings would override what your ISP has set, or why you would need to change the DNS servers.
