DNS server problem

im trying to set up a network between my pc and my xbox to xboxm live, but im having problems with my dns server, i need to know what they are. Ive been told to go to start/run and type in cmd which opens the command pad, then type in ipconfig /all, but that dosent work, any one know what im doing wrong? im using windows xp pro

start -> run -> type in cmd and click ok. it will open a command prompt looking probably like

c:\documents and settings\user1\desktop>

here type in ipconfig /all and hit enter.. might see something that looks like the following. It will list your DNS server(s) for you. If this not what you are seeing, please cut & paste your results.

Open a DOS window and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.
