Hi,

is possible that on your network you will have two DNS Servers one on Windows 2003 and another one on a Windows Server 2008???

Are they compatible??

Thanks

They both would also have to be running AD and be domain controllers. Having two DNS servers is how most organizations run for redundancy. You would also need to extend the schema of the 2008 DC to the 2003 DC and a few other factors involved to get it set up correctly. Do it wrong and you will have major issues.

If you do not know how or have never upgraded AD this is probably not where you want to venture. If you are dead set on doing it hire a consultant if you want it done correctly.
