do i need a chip set ??

    hi i am installing a driver on a friends comp a dell inspiron 537st as the graphics driver is missing i put the intell driver on it but would not work do i need a chipset file 1st ??thanks in advance xx

    Go to the Intel web site and install the Inf utility for that chipset

    Or do a search. Many download sites have that utility, too.

    so i am doing the right thing then???? so like i am 2 yrs old lolm i get that inf thing download that then download the driver i need???? thanks for being so calm with me i not the best with comps lol

    What's the service tag number of that Dell Inspiron 537ST? It'll be on a sticker on the case. Make sure to post it here correctly.

    What version of Windows is in that computer? XP or Vista or 7? The Dell site has drivers for all 3 versions.

    It's okay to post the "service tag number" here. It's not anything that releases personal information on you or your computer. It'll make it much easier to determine the chipset driver and graphic driver that you need.
