Do the AHCI sata drivers exist?

    I have been looking all night Googled and checking HP website out looking for the ahci sata drivers so i can install my new copy of windows 7 onto the laptop as its not seeing the drive.

    Wondering if anyone had any ideas where i could get them from its a HP 6000 and its annoying me now as I have been looking for a while.

    Windows 7 has built in ahci drivers,but the drive has to be ahci compatable.
    Most of those drives,as far as I know,are solid state drives.
    If the drive is not compatable,you need to set the drive controller to sata or IDE mode in the bios.
