Hi, i bought a docking station to use an old hdd
when i connect it there are sever writing errors
it writes at 40mb/s for 3/4 seconds then drops to 200kbps

i have been running diagnostic tools, but their ETAs are 20 days..
also, a notification appears saying "device will be better in a USB 2.0 port"
i have all usb 2.0 ports, and have tried in each, the notification always comes after i start writing

the box of the docking station says USB 2.0 support up to 480mbps and USB 1.1 to 12 mbps

this is a big problem, and i would appreciate help
