I've got this file on my computer that is driving me nuts.

    Foder name is: FSW

    Location: C:\Program Files\FSW

    Discription: FreeScratchAndWin.com Windows Client

Copyright (C) 2002 CPM Media, Ltd. All rights reserved

I've tried to delete it but it sez it's unable to be deleted

I've ran adware and deleted it.

I cannot find it in add and remove programs

How can I get rid of this thing?

    I'm running winXP home edition.

    Thanks in advance

FSW (Free Scratch & Win) is insidious. I've downloaded Spybot to try to get rid of it. At least Spybot recognizes that it is on the harddrive, (unlike Ad- Aware), but apparently can't get rid of it.

If you delete the FSW.exe, there is some part of the program that you can't delete, because Windows is using it. Then the next time you start your system, BINGO, FSW.exe is there again.

I've unchecked it from start - up programs at the same time, and again, there it is again.

I'm suddenly having trouble with resources (Win 98, SE) again, and I suspect that this program is the reason.

spybot and regcleaner and seem to have gotten rid of it. You might try those two programs in combination.

You can download regcleaner from download.com

    Good luck
