Does anyone know of any sites where you can take lessons and also practice doing computer things there? I once found a site where you could learn to do simple things like copy/paste etc. but can't remember where it is at now. I didn't know about the bookmark thingy then.

hey lisa... I ran across one a while back where you could do typing lessons online.... ( learning to type style tutorials)

But haven't seen anything else. Interesting discussion though... would love to hear about whats out there.

I saw this freeware while doing a software search. I haven't used it myself, so I don't know how basic or advanced it is. Might be a starting point, though. Maybe you could give us a review on how useful or otherwise it is.

Be careful working with the registry. One bad line can make your computer stop working. I found this one site that has all kinds of info that is free if you sign up:

It is full of development, support, management stuff relating to computers. Use their search engine to find out more on registrys.
