Really quickly, can anyone tell me if creating a complete recovery image with Acronis 11 also backs up your BIOS?

    Thanks.

"Ill- - -", I believe, means everything on the HDD or selected partition. "Data" usually refers only to non-system files.

Acronis creates an image of what's in your hard drive. The BIOS software is in the motherboard and not in the hard drive.

If you've ever updated the BIOS and then formatted the hard drive and then done a fresh install of the operating system, you'll see that the updated BIOS is still present because it's unaffected by what you did to the hard drive.
