A google doc was shared with the share feature 'anyone with link can edit' numerous people edited it in while in an incognito tab. It was going great until there was an exchange of threats and racism in the chat associated with the google doc. It was just seen as frustration at that time but it's now being as reported as a crime to the school. The school has escalated the case to the police. An individual involved, doesn't know what he/she said as when he/she refreshed the document, the chat history was gone. Is there anyway the police can track who it was as it was done in incognito tab on home computer/wifi. If google and ISPs are involved, can anything happen. Looking for quick answers and I'm willing to pay $20 for someone who gives a firm right answer and can provide proof to back it up. The individual might be innocent as he/she can't recollect what they wrote so they don't want to fess up. Are the IPs from the chat associated with the google doc logged anywhere? Willing to pay $20 so looking for a quick answer please. The school only has a screenshot of the chat saying 'Anonymous Hippo: blah blah and Anonymous Moose: blah blah blah". Thank You. The chats clear for google docs

Google logs absolutely everything that happens on a google service. Whether they will reveal the information without a court order is the question. Now the police are involved, they will have the ability to ask Google for what details are available.

We will not get involved or offer any further help or advice, in case anything we say or advise will be detrimental to the Police investigation
