You always hear about not having two a/v softwares on the computer at the same time, but malwarebytes anti-exploit free supposedly doesn't disrupt most free a/v. Does anybody have any experience with the free a/v that the malwarebytes anti-exploit free works okay with? Thanks.

I use Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit on a Win 7 pc and on an old laptop running Xp. They also have Avast anti-virus program installed and there are no conflicts in running both programs.

Yes, that still applies. MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit is not an anti-virus program and is compatible with "most" anti-virus programs as they states on their web site:

+1 blues_harp; so far, no problems; also want to add: recommend not setting any security too assertively

Thanks blues harp. Is that paid or free Avast A/V you are using with the MB Anti-Exploit?

There is a security setting in Avast called "hardened mode"
That may need to be turned off if using Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, as they may be checking for the same sort of changes on the system.
You will need to check if that is true in your case.
