doing a backup

    hello everyone i hope this is the right forum place/thread after doing a windows backup can you restore it to any computer or can it be installed only on the computer you backed up

    daily backup with the windows utility

    Start - Run - NTBACKUP

    That's the best and easiest for data files

    Just thought I'd throw that in !!

    "CobianBackup," which is a freebee, for data files is highly recommended here at TSG. Likewise Acronis' "TrueImage" for system and programs. It will also handle data files in its recent versions, as I understand. I like having them separate myself.
