domain server question

    i want to know if it is possible to log on to the server computer with a username on the domain?
    (IE: the computer is running windows server 2003 r2 enterprize edition, and the user name is example and the password is exampleppassword)

    Depends on the server role, and what group(s) the user is a member of.
    And whether or not you've modified the Allow log on locally user right.
    These are the defaults for Allow log on locally:
    On workstations and servers:
    Backup Operators
    Power Users

    On domain controllers:
    Account Operators
    Backup Operators
    Print Operators
    Server Operators.
