Hi im trying to clean up my pc of any porblems and when i ran housecall it came up with DOS AGOBOT.GEN as non removable. Is this a major problem? Another thing is when I go to view some internet sites a blank page comes up with 'nothing here' written in small print on the top left corner. Is this a virus because it doesnt seem like normal behaviour. My last problem is notepad not opening properly like it isnt there. My results for Hijackthis are below:

    Hi and welcome to TSG,

Download the LPS Fix just in case you lose your Internet connection as a result of removing New.Net. It shouldn’t happen and this is just a precaution but if it does, run the LPS Fix to get the connection back.

    http://cexx.org/lspfix.htm

    Download the New.Net removal tool

    Go to this site:

    http://www.newdotnet.com

Scroll to the bottom of the page to procedure 4 and download and run the New.Net removal tool.

    Then, download this: http://downloads.subratam.org/FINDnFIX.exe
Extract it (it should autoextract to C:\FindnFix when you double click it)

Go to the C:\FindnFix folder and doubleclick on !LOG!.BAT and let it run. It will generate a log.txt file. Copy and paste log.txt back here in your next reply.

[/COLOR]Anyone else with a similar problem, do NOT attempt to follow these instructions on your own. Expert help is required to interpret the log and deleting the wrong file can cause serious damage to your system!

Then, please download the newer version of Hijack This 1.98.2 and post another log along with the log.txt file from FINDnFIX.
