Like alot of people I have had problems with the virus
    msblaster.
I finally have everything back to normal except for one
thing. When I try to update at the Windows Update,
the process hangs after I click on "review and install updates"
It changes to the page where you need to click on the
"Install now" button but the button is greyed out and
Internet Explorer stops responding. I have to go to
the task manager to end the process.
I have ran virus detection software and I am clean
according to them. I did manage to download the patch for
the worm and install it from a different Microsoft web page.
I am running the XP firewall (I wasn't before)and checked
my port at the link I got from this forum and it said I am
"Stealth" which is ok I guess.
Was wondering if there are any registry entrys that I can check
that could be causing this or if ya'll think there is something
else doing it. I read over the Microsoft page that lists a
bunch of reasons why it hangs at the Update site but
none were exactly like it is happening to me.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
