dos commands to delete an operating system

    My P.C. has a virus, I would like to remove windows ME and reinstall, can anyone please tell me the MSDOS commands to do this?!?!?!?!

    Hi and welcome. What kind of ME installation cd do you have? And what virus did you have, as some infect the boot sector as well.

    What you seem to be asking for is what to enter when booting with a windows boot floppy. If that's the case... At the A: prompt, type in format c: /s and hit enter. This will erase the C: drive and prepare it for the installation of the OS.
