I would appreciate a simple freeware roadmap on how to easily download mp3 files and a freeware program to burn these files to disk. Guntella gives me trouble [will not always download] and when I download musicmatch I get an error message that a DLL device is missing.

I use both Bearshare and Gnucleus to download. I have found lots and lots of stuff on Gnucleus. it is open source code.

To keep track of your MP3s on your hard drive I highly recommend musicjukebox.

    Download Musicjukebox

It allows you to burn CDs too...and is very good at organizing your MP3s.
