I tried to download SlimCleaner software and got this error message which says at the bottom of the message, Cannot find MyDownloader.IEPlugin.IEMDdownloadurl(string) I cannot download actually anything. At the moment now I am doing a course in Maintence and Repairs and cannot download any PDF files to start my lessons.

go to add/remove programs & uninstall my downloader

if that doesn't cure it, then open IE/tools/options/advanced
    select reset IE to default
press OK reboot & see if it works
