I have fast internet -- 70 mbps on phone, 70 on laptop, 90 on TV -- but 8 on PC windows 10. But the upload speed is fast. The Dell PC used to be substantially faster, so I wonder if it is slow because of an update. Any advice would be appreciated. (The Edge router is provided by the IPS and it works well enough on everything else. The computer is about 2 years old.

Do you have any peer to peer software like torrent programs running?

Yes. I am about 10 feet from my Edge router. My wife's laptop, about the same age and the same distance from the router, has a significantly better speed. Mine was much faster several weeks ago.

It's possible that the driver got updated, or needs to be updated.

Actually, are you able to connect to the router with an Ethernet Cable, to make sure you are getting the download speeds?
