am using windows me and cable isp. is anybody using download accelerator. i'm looking at it primarily for their password storage capabilities.
i used to use gator for my passwords until it gave my computer problems and it was also spyware.
does the download accelarator work the same as gator so that when you're on a web site, an icon pops up, you fill in your security password and then it gives you the password for that site???

DAP has spyware as well. Not as bad as Gator, but I think AdAware will disable it as well. I haven’t used DAP for a while but it didn’t have the password storage capability at the time I used it.

If you are storing your passwords and associating them with sites I would make sure I had a good firewall – especially with cable.

The best program I've found for form filling and passwords is <A HREF="http://www.roboform.com/?tag=ex.dl.10059-601-2409576.dir.manu">RoboForm </A>

In addition: it doesn't contain spyware, it integrates with your browser and therefore you don't even get yet another program starting up as Windows starts.
