downloaded HTML digital pictures are blocked

I am trying to download digital webpage templates. It doen't matter where I download them to, they won't display. I get a white box with a tiny box with a red X in the upper left hand corner. Clicking on it does nothing. I've changed every setting I can think of, no results. Any ideas? l

If they are free templates that anyone can access, can you provide a link to the download page? It might give us a much better idea of what you are dealing with.

The templates don't necessarily include the images.
A link, as suggested above, would clear this up.
