It this post doesn't belong here Im sorry...

Anyways..my boyfriend downloaded this pay music download and it wanted us to also download this Java Software program. so we followed directions and I think we have all the system requirements but we got this message saying We encountered an issue while trying to automatically install Java¬ô software onto your machine. As a result, Java software was not installed properly.

    What do we do?

Well...got spinning triangle and this is the info that came up with it. Vendor: Microsoft Corp. Version: 1.1.4 Build: 3810-does this mean anything?

Do I have to download it manually since the spinning triangle came up?

Java VM Test shows that Java is working. Go to: http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/content/games/pool.html
and load up a game of pool, to see if your java applets are working (U might want to play a game of pool and get beat by some nine year old kid.) If yahooligans games loads up. Sounds like the site U are trying to access might be the problem.

We were able to get into the pool game.

They want us to instal Java 2 Runtime Environment Standard Edition 1.4.2 Java Plug-in 1.5 01.

Do we have to uninstall the Java that we do have now to install the new Java? If so..how do we do it?
