The smilie sites generally are rife with pop ups and mal/spyware so you may very well be infected with something unwanted.

Hi,,
I am using IE 6,, I don't have any firewalls,, but thats kinda
what it seems like. I know about the smilie central having
pop ups and stuff,,, I just think its weird that I can't download it.
and also sun java,, ( 5.0 )
I have noticed too that it seems to take longer to load sites
is there something I can do to clean up the system without ruining
anything?
I appreciate all your help.
thanks

Hijack This Log might point out something. Download from here. Not zipped, so you can make a new folder for it and save it there. Close all open windows before running Hijack This. Click 'Do a system scan and save a logfile.' Copy the entire log in notepad and paste it here. Do not fix anything yet because most items are normal or needed. Then hope someone here will analyze the log.
