    Hi guys sorry i havent been around for a while thanks for all the help and links though.The way it turned out was my computer completely went down in the end i couldnt start up windows it said that file fat32 was missing or similar but lucky for me it was all covered for breakdown etc so i got it fixed for free eventually and the repairer said that norton ghost /back up upsets my computers ability to recover so i cant install that again not that i will use norton anymore after all the bad i hear from you guys.

    I have Norton Anti-Virus and AVG on my computer, and have never had a conflict with the two. May be just lucky. My Norton is outdated, but still there, and still runs virus checks. I have the Norton Suite. I don't care for the anti-virus, but I really like Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk (their defrag app). Speed Disk works much better than Window's built in defragger, and Disk Doctor has always been hard to beat.
