I have downloaded some downtown lot from www.thesims.com, when i try to open alot that has been downloaded, the game returns back to my windows, i have also tried to bulldoze the lots in hopes of trying to find out which is the culprit, but again it just shuts down, what do i do or what have i done wrong. I also have the vacation and i have done some download and it works fine.

    3. Do you have the necesarry expansion packs to run the lots?

ok, make sure the game is installed properly, backup everything and reinstall the game, or try downloading the lot again, as the download may have corrupted, also did you install all the expansion packs in the right order, as it will not function properly otherwise...
