I am new to this support forum community. My computer is running on Windows 7 operating system. I am going to try both Dreamweaver CS5 & Dreamweaver 8 to see which version I like better. Will someone please tell me how I can use one or both of these versions to design a motel booking and reservation section on my website with interactive features like, for example, if someone wants to check room availability from Nov. 8 to Nov. 10, enter three nights of stay, get rates, book a room, and get a response and confirmation from me? If so, what is this feature called? Thank you.

I don't believe that you will be able to have both versions on the same PC. The only way would be to have a virtual PC using the M$ option if you have Win 7 Professional or Ultimate installed. IMHO forget 8 and go straight to CS5.

You will need to get to grips with a server side language like PHP to create the type of application you are looking for. You may be better off getting a pre-written script from somewhere like Hot Scripts and then fine tune it to suit.
