hey guys i have a question. i used to know how to do this but ive taken a break from web desighn but now i am starting up again and really would like to know how to lock a textbox in dreamweaver 4. i mean lock as in i enter text then upload it to my website and no one elce can change it.

Just curious, why would you want to lock a textbox? Why not just use text? If you do want to use it, when creating the image with the GUI (not by coding yourself) after selecting the form object "text feild" just select "read only" and then for your value enter in the text you want displayed. The rest is really self explainatory.
