Hi guys, I have a problem with my Hitachi LG-GCC-44480B CD\DVD\CDR(?) Anyways it will not recognize d2 in many of my application. This started a couple of months ago after installing a game using the latest STARFORCE security. Now I have read a few threads claiming that the starforce sys. wrecked their CDR drives??? Anybody know anything about that?? Fact is that it used to be fine now its not and I can think of no possible reason?? Any way to test the drive, the device manager says it is fine but... While it is sometimes possible to install of HD with multi cd games, apps, it doesn't always work? Stranger yet it will read d2 for my copy of Age of Mythology, but not for Empires Dawn of the Modern World(a favorite). Driving me crazy, Any help would be great Graiskye (y)
