I would like to know how to partition a hard drive. I formatted my hd, but when I attemp to install Windows 98, I get a message [from my boot disk], that there is no valid fat 32 partition. I tried using windows help [I have windows me on another hd], but they have no information on partitioning. Is there a standard way to accomplish this?

    fls3030, Welcome to TSG!

All I have to add to $teve's assistance is this link, which will give you a simulation of using fdisk, if you've never used it before:
