I have been getting an error message on my computer that says it is a disk error. It doesn't say that the disk has a bad block, but that "the driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\D" without the quotation marks obviously. I have a single hard drive configuration and I do believe that it is harddisk0, not harddisk1. I looked the error up on Microsoft and it said that it was a problem with the data cable and to replace the cable. The problem is, I have replaced all three cables twice and don't know what to do. What is the problem and how can I tell what harddisk1 is and if it is my hard drive? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Adam
