I have the same drive on a Dell Optiplex GX270 and it is no longer recognizing it as a burner. It is only showing CDROM. There are no drivers anywhere on the web.

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.

I've created a new thread for your issue here.

Thanks for your cooperation.

No drivers are required for optical drives. Have you tried uninstalling it and rebooting?

Download Nero Info Tool from Nero Tools Download, and paste the Drive page here.
