    Hi All,

I just discovered that I am still on this forum, haven't used it for ages (sorry about that!). Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone knew of updated drivers for older hardware that will enable the hardware to operate in Win 10. I have a Canon LIDE 20 A4 flatbed scanner, which was a nice little piece of gear. It refuses to operate in Win 10 because it can't find an appropriate driver. It would be nice to have it operational again!

    Cheers.

You will not get any canon early scanner to work under W10. The Lide 20 doesn't even work under W8.1
The only way to get it working in W8 or W10 is use a 3rd party scanning program https://www.hamrick.com/ however that costs and a new scanner probably costs about the same

I think one needs to go to the 200 series of scanner. I had to for Windows 7, as the earlier less than 100 series would not work on 7.

    I currently have a 220 working with Windows 10.

Thanks folks, the comments basically mirror my experiences with it, what a pity. Appreciate the comments anyway!

    Cheers.
