    Hi,

I recently get my hard drive checked by a Data recovery specialist to copy some data on it.

Now my D and E drives are not showing any data on them. The disks usage bars showing 10GB data usage onb each drive.

Can anyone tell me please how can I see my data in those drives?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards

Do you mean the drive is empty?

    Can you open it?

    Hi,

I can open both the drives (D and E) and both shows me at least 10 GB usage but I can't find any data.

    Any help please?

    Regards

Make sure that the system and hidden files are checked to be shown!

With Windows Explorer open, go to Tools, Folder Options, then the View tab.
There scroll down and remove the check mark at "Hide protected....." and also change the radio button in the "Hidden Files and folders" area to "Shown hidden....." and OK yourself out.

sometimes sorting the files in any other form than "folders" would make files and folders not show in windows 7 but this option is usually inside folders and not the root of hdd, you can still try sorting by folder
