    Hey guys,

I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place, I wasnt sure where to post such a problem.

Basically, the last few times I have tried to put pictures on to my laptop from my digital camera or my phone, via usb ports, i have been unable to directly access the camera files through My Computer, nor does it load up automatically which it used to do also.

I can still access the files, but only by opening one of them through another program, such as Windows Media Player. Then i would right click on the file, open containing folder, and then proceed to manage the files as i normally would do. The only problem with this is that there obviously has to be something to open on the camera or phone and it is just a pain because it would normallt come up automatically or through My Computer.

I find it strange that the computer can read it ok and everything, but it just doesnt show up on my computer or load up automatically anymore, so hopefully there is a quick fix maybe?

Does anybody know why this is happening? And how could i fix it?

    Any help is much appreciated,

    Thanks in advance

    Chris
