DSL/Cable Routers

    I have question regarding DSL/Modem routers
    is it ok to connect the dsl/modem router to your existing hub??
    in order to have more the say 4 users on the router any problems

    It is perfectly fine to add a hub to your router to connect more than 4 users. I'm assuming you have a four port router. All Cable/DSL routers can handle up to 254 individual users. It's a good idea to set it up to assign IP addresses dynamically, unless you have head to head gaming, in which case you must use static ip addressing. In any case, a hub will work just fine, although these days you can get a little 4 port switch for under $50, which offers several advantages over a hub.
