My home computer is cutting inhalf the speed I'm suppose to get. MY readings are 1331.6kbps. I'm paying for 1500 to 3000.kbps. I know this because i can hook up my lap top and get 2600.kbps. Help I can't figure out what my home computer is doing with the other half. I do not have it hooked up to the linksys. Could it be my ethernet card. I'm new, I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Well I didn't get much help, so I fixed it myself. The problem was a bad ethernet card or an old one, but I went out a got a new one and it works great. Thanks I hope maybe this will help someone else. I know the tech people with my dsl service could'nt figure out either. Take care
