I have filters on the phone line but still every single time the phone rings I get a dsl error message on my computer, it takes about 3 minutes after the phone is hung up / stops ringing before my internet comes back.

Can anybody suggest what I do to fix this? I've got 2 filters and it happens with both.

Hi;Did it always work like this ?
Try running the dsl line directly into the modem,no filter on that direct line.

You have an interior wiring issue most likely, probably filters improperly installed. It could be the ISP, but I'd check the interior wiring first.

Check ALL of the phone equipment of any kind, phones, wireless base stations, answering machines, etc. Make sure EVERYTHING but the modem has a filter properly installed.
