I have DSL through AT&T and just bought a new NetGear R6400 router not realizing I need a DSL modem as well. Any recommendations on a DSL modem would be so appreciated! Or should I return this router and buy a combo router/modem?
    Thanks!

AT&T should be able to either provide you with one or tell you which one to purchase. I had Verizon DSL and they sent me a Westell modem. Later on when we were trouble shooting some issues with my circuit, they sent me a newer Westell modem which was a modem/router combo. I had to set that one into bridged mode to work with my firewall.
