I've looked all over but can't seem to find a DSL modem (minus any router section) that has a gigabit port.

Does anyone know of any manufacture that makes one? I'm surprised it's so hard to find....

Hi It is not so hard to find router with Gigabit port connection you just don't look close enough. Look in linksys of netgear website and I am sure you find one with Gigabit connection. Look here is one of many G54 WIRELESS ROUTER WGR614 I find in just 30 sec. I hope this will help.

I have read your post closely now and you want modem with Gi port. Hmm I don't think so you can get one for the price under 1000$ something like cisco 800 series with hwic gig card. But I don't you need one because there is no service provider which can give you more than 100mb connection and to connect your pc to with Gi speed you can buy router or switch for the trice under 50$

Thanks for your reply Electron. I have ordered the EnGenius ESR9855G. It seems to be one of the better ones. Didn't know that DSL was so slow. I remember when it used to be fast :p

You realize that's just a router, right? I don't see anything in the specs to indicate that it's a modem.
