I've seen some guides online on how o set up a dual with xp and vista, but all these guides assume the 2 O/Ss are on the same drive. I have xp pro on one drive and vista home premium on another. How can I set up a dual boot that way?

TIA

It works the exact same way as if you had them on the same hard drive.

To be safe, install XP first on one hard drive, then install Vista. You should get the option to boot into one or the other during each reboot.

I don't quite get it, the O/Ss are on seperate drives, not different partitions on the same drive.

Basically you don't have to do anything special to dual-boot xp and vista on 2 separate hard drives. Just install them and you should have no problems.

Ok, I have both drives installed in my system. In order to boot into vista, i have to go into my bios and set to boot from that drive. I dont have a menu on bootup to ask me what o/s i want to boot to
